  • National Electrical Code 2008 Article 342
  • Federal Specification WW-C-581 (Class 2 Type A)

Intermediate Metal Conduit (RMC) Steel Elbows:

  • Permitted under all atmospheric conditions and occupancies
  • Shall be permitted to be installed in concrete, in direct contact with the earth
  • Permitted in areas of severe corrosive influences where protected by corrosion protection and judged suitable for the condition
  • Permitted in our under cinder fill where subject to permenent moisture when protected on all sides by a layer of noncinder concrete not less than 2 in. (50 mm) thick or with corrosion protection judged suitable for the condition
  • May be used with Aluminum fittings and enclosures
